Prism builds an evidence-backed model of who you are — from your own work. Your git history, papers, and projects become skills, traits, and beliefs. No profile to fill in. Runs on your laptop. Plugs into Claude & Cursor.
Every other memory tool stores what you tell it. Prism derives who you are from the trail you already leave — passively.

"prefers TypeScript" (0.94, 18 repos)
"full-stack · ships ~17 commits/day"
"works across mobile & web"
Becomes a twin from your code & writing — zero manual entry. Nobody else does this.
Every fact has a validity window. New facts supersede old ones — it's never confidently wrong, and you can ask "as of" any date.
Fully local. Secret & PII redaction at ingest; personal notes private by default. ~500MB RAM.
Prism = memory. Claude = intelligence.
No bundled LLM — the agent calling it does the thinking, so it stays small and private.
The space is crowded. One column nobody owns: a twin built passively from your own work.

Local is free and open forever. A hosted version — zero setup, synced across devices — is coming.
Why it can be cheap: on Cloudflare (Vectorize + Workers AI) a single user's twin is ~58MB of vectors and a trickle of embedding — cents per user/month. So a real free tier is sustainable, and paid covers heavier corpora + sync.
One config line. Local stdio, no auth dance.
